Looking for a Great Pyrenees Dog to adopt in Old Hickory, TN? Just 1 year old and weighing 90 lbs, Lucy has been House Broken, and is good with Adults. She is in very good health.

Lucy is a very sweet, comical and affectionate dog. She was abused as a young puppy which has caused her to have some anxiety. As a result, Lucy needs an adults-only home where she can be a cherished only pet.

Lucy’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their beloved dog. They are hoping to find a new home for Lucy where she will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy.

Lucy’s Personality

Lucy. would love a home with lots of space to run around. She loves playing fetch and Lucy is a good guard dog and will make her rounds around the yard throughout the day. It takes time for her to warm up to people but once she gets to know them, she is as sweet as can be. we have a cat, and Lucy has not shown any aggression towards him, but she does like to chase him around, which he does not enjoy. Lucy is anxious around other dogs at first, but will warm up to them. I believe that she has suffered some form of abuse before we got her, but I don’t know her past home situation.

Why is Lucy Being Rehomed?

It has gotten to the point where everyone in the home treats Lucy poorly. She is not shown any affection except by myself, and everyone else is fearful of her because of her bite history. I have seen tremendous progress with her since we first got her, and believe that in the right setting, she would thrive and be a good dog, but unfortunately everyone else has given up on her.
