Hi, My name is Karma!

Jack russell terrier chihuahua mix

I’m a spunky little dog with a lot of charisma! I’m very loveable and affectionate, with lots of energy and playfulness. I have the cutest markings – Chihuahua shape with JRT coloring. My coat is smooth and soft.

I’m really good with other dogs and children. I love being part of things and have a lot of enthusiasm for life.

I’m quite healthy, but I was diagnosed with Addison’s disease a year ago. It just means that my hormones are out of whack, and that I need to take some medicine to keep everything regulated. I take some liquid once a day, and every three months I get a shot. My medicine is not expensive, and my current owner will supply my new family with 6 months worth of treatment. I’m active and feel great, so it’s really just a small problem that is well under control.

I’m being rehomed by my family who love me very much. I used to be the center of attention, but with the arrival of a new baby, things have really changed. My Mom just doesn’t have the time to give me the attention and exercise I need and deserve. She realizes that it would be better for me if I had a new family who have lots more time to spend playing with me and giving me lots affection and companionship.

I’ll be rehomed with my supplies, and my Mom would love to keep in touch with me in my new home. Please offer me a home today. I can’t wait to add some good Karma to your home!

Karma’s Current Home Environment

Currently lives with a young couple who just had a baby. Karma is not getting the attention, exercise or playtime she needs and deserves.

Karma’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She loves balls and squeaky toys. Loves stuffed animals with squeakers in them.
Only plays with toys that belong to her.

Cute Karma Story:

She loves going to daycare. Daycare shuttle picks her up in the morning. Mom puts on her leash and she patiently waits for the shuttle to pick her up. It’s so cute – just like a kid waiting for the bus.
She also does a cute thing where she stands on her hind legs and waves her front paws. The Vet calls her “Tiny Dancer”.

Why is Karma Being Rehomed?

As stated above – new baby has made it impossible to give karma what she needs.

Karma’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Home with people who will give her lots of attention.
She is OK in an apartment, but would prefer a fenced yard where she can burn up some energy.
She loves to visit the dog park, and this is something highly recommended as she loves to be social and play with other dogs.
People who understand that she had a health condition that will need to be medicated for the rest of her life. This does not affect her at all as long as she takes her medication regularly.
People who will provide her with lots of attention, affection, proper nutrition, adequate veterinary care and exercise.

Additional Comments:

Karma has been trained well. She knows her basic commands and is quite obedient and eager to please.
