I showed up at my owner’s Tampa, Florida home at the very same time as her son; both of us there to comfort her in her last months of life. My owner was in her 90’s and ill health had finally set in. She was a cat lover through and through, and I stayed with her every moment until she took her last breath. I cuddled next to her, gently purring and letting her know that everything was going to be OK.
I also kept her devoted son, Christopher, company as he lovingly cared for her in her last days.
I am a very sweet natured cat. I am only about 2 years old and fairly small. I have the softest coat and lovely gold colored eyes. I am a tuxedo cat – black with adorable white paws and chest – and the cutest half-moustache.
I have been spayed and am up to date on my shots. I am very healthy and have the most amazingly gentle and affectionate nature. I add joy and compassion to life, and love everyone I meet. I am great with children and the ultimate lap cat. Above all, I am a true friend.
My owner’s son has to go back to his home in North Carolina by motorcycle. Otherwise he would take me with him. He is so grateful to me for the comfort that I gave his Mom throughout her last days. He wants to find me the very best home a cat could have.
I deserve to be cherished and kept safe, happy and healthy. Please offer me a loving, forever home today. I can’t wait to purr my way into your heart. I am definitely a cat that will leave tiny paw prints on your heart.

A quick little background a little over a year ago my mother 90 years old became ill I quit my job in North Carolina to come back home do Florida to become my mother’s caregiver this cat showed up on the day I arrived like an angel she immediately bonded with my mother coming up on her bed curling up beside her just purring away she was a constant companion to my mother in her last months of her life in this world she brought a smile to my mother’s face and joy to my heart as I watch this cat Give It All it could to make my mother happy when my mother passed the cat seem to know Mama’s Gone and came to me and curled up next to me on the chair bringing me much needed comfort
Why is Kat Being Rehomed?
I need to go back home 2 North Carolina I already I have 4 cats three dogs two horses I have been looking here in Tampa or anywhere close for someone to take this loving cat
