Irish Wolfhound Mix Breed Puppy For Adoption in Orange County

Kenji has been successfully rehomed. He has found his forever family in Julie, who lives in Arizona.  Here’s a note we received from Kenji’s original owners:

Hi there Debbie,

You may have already heard, Julie has successfully homed Kenji in AZ.

Thank you so much for all of your help – It has meant a great deal to me, my family, and Kenjisaurus. 🙂

Best,
Skye, Patrick, Traci, Kenji and Julie 🙂

And here is how we presented Kenji to attract the right home:

Hi, My name is Kenji!

Irish wolfhound mix breed puppy for adoption in orange county

I am big bundle of love! Just 6 years young and very healthy, I am neutered and up to date on my shots. I weigh 100 pounds!

I have been described as a great big teddy bear! I love people and am very affectionate.  I am an Irish Wolfhound mix, with a good bit of German Shepherd thrown in for good measure! I am a super great companion and a compassionate listener. Nothing you tell me will go further, and I don’t judge!

In addition to being extremely handsome, I am very good at making my owner feel special.  I love just being with my humans and make them feel safe and loved. I am very well trained, and know quite a few commands. I am also housebroken and very clean and well-behaved.

I am being rehomed by my owners, who love me very much. They have recently experienced financial difficulties, and have had to move to an apartment. As you can imagine, an apartment is no place for a 100 pound dog!

They are hoping to find me a very loving home with people who will cherish me as much as they do. I need to live in a house with a big, fenced back yard (6 foot fence is a must!). I also need people who will have lots of time to spend with me.

I love other dogs, but I am not a good match for small children or cats.  Please offer me a home today. I can’t wait to meet you!

Kenji’s Personality

Kenji is a great companion for humans and other dogs. He is very loyal and is a great listener. He is well trained and loves to spend time with his humans.

Kenji’s Current Home Environment

We currently have Kenji in a single family home with a fenced in back yard.

Kenji’s Current Family:

We are three adults living with three dogs. Kenji is the largest of our 3 pups. We are young professionals.

Kenji’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Kenji loves walks, playing with plushes, playing hide and seek, and getting belly rubs.

Cute Kenji Story:

Kenji is a big teddy bear – He lovingly requests attention by placing his paw on your lap, or placing his head under your hand.

Why is Kenji Being Rehomed?

We are needing to move into a small apartment for financial reasons. Kenji needs a yard to play in. Kenji has been in our family for four years and it is very important for us that we find a loving home for him.

Kenji’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

We are looking for a family with a fenced in yard (6+ feet tall) and no small children.  He is a great companion and is very friendly, but it is important that his new family respect his size.
