Hi, My name is Kirby!
[button link=”http://petrehoming.net/adopt-a-pet/” size=”large” variation=”hotpink” align=”center”]Request to Meet Kirby Here![/button]
There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.
I am a very sweet, friendly and affectionate 25 pound female Basenji mix dog. I am just 3 years old and have been spayed and fully vaccinated. I am perfectly house broken, and very well behaved.
I love children, and am also very accepting of strangers. I’m not so good with other pets, though, so it would be best for me to be in an “only pet” situation with a family who want to cherish just one special dog.
My ideal home will be with people who have lots of time to spend with me, who own a home with a securely fenced back yard so that I can romp and play and get my energy out. I have a fair bit of energy, so need an active family willing to take me for a walk. Above all, I need a home with people who will love me as much as I love them. I want a forever home where I will receive the care, attention, exercise and companionship that I need and very much deserve.
Please offer me a loving home today. I can’t wait to charm my way into your heart!
Love and Licks,

Babies, Toddlers, Small Children, Older Children, Strangers
She is very active and very loving. Great with kids, but now it seems not great with other dogs. She loves to run, play fetch, and then cuddle after she gets her energy out.
She can stay in the yard for hours at a time, but also is fine inside the house as well.
Reason For Rehoming
We have had 2 female dogs for 3 – 4 years and recently th ey started fighting to the point of having to get care at the vet. Our vet has advised us if we can’t keep our two dogs separated 100% of the time (this isn’t possible in our situation) that we need to re home one of them.
If you would like to consider offering Kirby a loving, forever home, please fill out our Request To Meet A Pet form here:
Once received, we will contact you to discuss your request and set up a mutually convenient time to meet Kirby and their owner in their home.
