All About Romeo

Romeo’s Personality

Romeo is great if just by himself and us. He loves to play in the water with swimming or the water hose. He loves to run and loves to chase after rabbits and balls. When tired he rolls on his back and wants a belly rub. He loves to walk with you on a lead and stays with you without one. He loves to sleep in bed under the covers. He loves to ride in the car.

He is loving.
He is funny to watch as he chases the ball and jumps for the water hose. He can jump very high.
He loves to stretch out over your lap while on the couch watching TV
He just wants to be with you all the time.
He lets you know if you forget to give him a treat or play with him when it’s time.

Romeo’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Tennis balls covered in silicone that bounce high.
I have been making his food or there is a list of treats, food that the lab sent to purchase. He loves chicken and whitefish the best and salmon oil. He is not an outside dog. He will not stay by himself outside and will cry unless you are outside with him.he doesn’t like the cold and has a very thin coat.He loves the water.

Cute Romeo Story:

He used to play so well with Koda Bear our Border Collie until a few months ago. Koda Bear would herd Romeo in doing circles like the sheep and Romeo complied. He wanted to play and would race in circles trying to get Koda Bear to chase him.

Why is Romeo Being Rehomed?

Romeo can no longer be trusted and is no longer giving us warning before he attacks our other pets. We have been working with a behavioralist to get Koda Bear and him back as friends but it didn’t work and we cannot keep the older pets separated. Once we removed Romeo from roaming the house; the atmosphere changed and our other pets are now playing together without fear of attack. Romeo also is better behaved while separate and gets attention from only us.

Romeo’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Must be active and want Romeo with them. He needs to play at least minimum an hour a day. Not sure about children but no other pets at all. He loves the water so someone that lives around water or can play with him in the water would be great too.

Additional Comments:

If it’s ok with new pet parent we would love pics and reassurance that he is ok. We love him dearly. He just needs to be the only pet.
