Rocket is truly a great cat. He loves his routine in our home. He is ‘only’ cat (or any animal) and so he has a very routined, calm life. He likes cuddles, on his own time! So, he his is not an overly affectionate cat, but yet, you can still get affection at times. His mix of independence, combined with some cuddles makes him a perfect cat.
Why is Rocket Being Rehomed?
Rocket does not like children. We now have a grandchild, and another one on the way. Unfortunately, for no reason at all, yesterday Rocket swatted at our grandchild, narrowly missing her eye ball 🙁 He got her forehead and top of her eyelid. As much as we love Rocket, and hate to do this, we cannot take this chance. This was too close for comfort, we are just lucky he missed her actual eye ball. Rocket is a GREAT cat otherwise, he just cannot be around children. Adults are perfectly fine -or older children.
Rocket’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Need a home without young children. A home where Rocket can maintain his quiet, routined lifestyle. He is used to being alone during the day too, so a working home is fine as well. A home where he an be loved as much as he is loved here.
