LUNA HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Exquisitely Beautiful and Demure Russian Blue Cat For Adoption

If you are a fan of the Russian Blue, do we have the cat for you! Luna is a gorgeous 4 year old purebred Russian Blue, with green/gold eyes and a velvety soft blue/grey coat. She is an incredibly affectionate cat, and once she gets to know you, she is the ultimate, cuddly lap cat. Luna is spayed, up to date on her shots, and very healthy.

Luna is being rehomed by her owner. Although she is sad to have to make the decision to find this precious purrer a new home, she realizes that it is necessary for Luna to have a happy life. Things have changed dramatically in Luna’s life; her owner met her soul mate, and along with him came 2 cats and a dog. Luna is traumatized… She is very much a scaredy cat when it comes to other pets, and has not adjusted to the situation, despite months going by.

Luna needs a quiet home with a single person or couple where she will be their baby. She doesn’t cope well with other cats, dogs or children – or lots of people coming and going. She loves to spend quality time with her favorite person. She’s a sweetheart – her purr is like music and her soft cuddly presence on your lap is the perfect way to relax.

If you can offer lovely Luna a loving, forever home where she will be your one and only, please fill out our adoption application form here: http://petprosservices.com/adopt/ or call Debbie toll free at (888) 263-4766 for more information. There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee for this gorgeous kitty.

Luna’s Personality

Luna is a very beautiful Russian Blue with the telltale grey coat and green/gold eyes. She’s a dainty cat who is shy and skittish around strangers and new people. She can scare very easily with unexpected noises. When she warms up to you, she is very affectionate and can be quite the lap cat. She loves to cuddle under the blanket and loves to practice her hunting skills on houseflies and cat toys alike.

Luna’s Current Home Environment

We live in a busy neighborhood in a 3 bedroom house with 3 people, 2 cats, and a dog. There is typically a lot of activities going on, such as friends coming over. The cats have domain over the office/cat room and use this as their safe space.

Luna’s Current Family:

We are a newly married couple with busy work schedules. My husband has adopted my two cats, and I’ve adopted his dog and roommate.

Luna’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Luna loves to chase feathers on strings/sticks and laser pointers. She will do almost anything for some greenies and cheese (just a little bit)! As far as activities go, Luna loves to people/animal watch out the window.

Cute Luna Story:

Luna can hear the refrigerator door open regardless of what corner of the house she’s in. As soon as that door opens, you can be sure she’s sitting behind you with her head tilted just so, waiting for some cheese.

Why is Luna Being Rehomed?

Luna can be highly anxious and this seems to have gotten worse over the years with the accumulation of more pets/people in the home. As her anxiety has grown, she has acted out with inappropriate urinating and marking and extreme withdrawal, resulting in weight loss. Her relationship with the other cat has regressed and she is terrified of the dog.

Luna’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

We are looking for someone who is seeking a cat as an only pet, she needs to be the only animal and the center of attention. Luna thrives more when someone is able to spend a good amount of quality time with her. Though she may need to coaxed out of her shell, she has a lot of love and affection to offer. A relatively quiet neighborhood would be ideal but a quiet home would suffice.

Additional Comments:

We are seeking a new home for Luna for a few different reasons, but first and foremost is for her happiness. She does not seem to be doing well with the addition of pets and people and we want her to find a home where she can be comfortable and happy and thrive.
