REHOMED – Mesmerizing Mara – Sweet Older Kitty in Houston

Hi, My name is Mara!

Beautiful odd eyed cat for adoption in houston

I am a gorgeous white female cat with the most amazing eyes you have ever seen. One is vivid blue and the other is a vibrant green. I have a soft, silky white coat, perky ears, long whiskers and a very LOUD purr.

I am super sweet and very affectionate once I get to know you. I am also silly, and love to play and tease my dog brother.

I am about 10 years old. I am spayed, very healthy, clean and well behaved. I always use my litter box and my scratching post.

I am being rehomed by my foster mom. She took me in and gave me a loving home after my original owner passed away. Unfortunately she is now facing extreme financial difficulties, and has to move in with family. There are severe cat allergies in the home into which she is moving, so she is unable to take me with her.

She is hoping to find me a loving home with someone who will cherish me. I am such a sweet and beautiful girl. I am a great companion and a pretty low-maintenance pet.

Please offer me a home today. I can’t wait to purr my way into your heart!

Love,

Maura

Mara’s Current Family:

It’s just me.

Mara’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She has a stick with feathers on it, she eats dry food as needed, and gets a small can of moist food in the evening.

Cute Mara Story:

She loves to chase foil balls, and likes to tease my senior dog.

Why is Mara Being Rehomed?

The reason I have to give Mara up is because I have been unemployed for 10 months, just received and accepted a job offer in Illinois and will be moving in with my brother’s family. My nephew is asthmatic and severely allergic. I am moving the last weekend of this month.

Mara’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Someone looking for a older kitty. When I took her in as a foster for her ill owner who has since passed, she had no idea of her age.
