Max - German Shepherd Mix For Adoption San Diego 4

Max - german shepherd mix for adoption san diego 4Hi, My name is Max!

I have a new home already! It took just 1 day to find me new Mom and Dad once Debbie and the staff of Find My Pet A Home were on the case. I’m going to be living with Susanne and her husband in Lakewood, California. Susanne will have lots of time to spend with me and I can’t wait to join my new family after the holidays. In the meantime, I am going to spend some quality time with Ron, my current owner, saying our goodbyes. We are both a little sad, but know that we will be able to keep in touch. We couldn’t have asked for a more happy ending!

Thank you, Debbie!

Love and licks,
Max

Here’s how I was presented and promoted to potential adopters:

German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois Mix For Adoption in San Diego

Whomever coined the term “Man’s Best Friend” must have been thinking about me! I am a very handsome and incredibly well behaved German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. I am 6 years old and weigh 80 pounds. I am healthy, neutered and up to date on my shots. I live in San Diego, California.

I’m a real diplomat – I get along with everybody. I love children, other dogs and even get along well with cats. I have a special talent for making you feel like the only person in the world. I hang on your every word, and live just to be near you. Dogs like me are rare – I’m such a good boy.

I’m really smart, too! I know lots of commands and am very obedient. I am very caring and intuitive, so I would make a great emotional support dog.

My owner, who loves me very much, is no longer able to provide me with the time, attention and environment I need and deserve. He’s had to move us into an apartment which makes it very difficult for me to get the exercise I need. He is also working a lot more and traveling frequently. I end up spending a lot of time on my own and with pet sitters.

Ron wants the best for me. He wants to find a better home for me – a home where I can be the cherished center of attention in an active family with kids, or with a couple or single living in a home with a fenced yard, and who have lots of time to spend with me. I love the outdoors and being active. Hiking and visiting dog parks are two of my favorite things to do.

Please offer me a loving forever home today. I can’t wait to amaze you with what a great dog I am.

My 7 yr old son visits me and he’s good with him.

Max’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

He likes treats and free feeds. He likes walks both on and off leash.

Cute Max Story:

Why is Max Being Rehomed?

I live in apartment which restricts his active life, I can’t take him out as often as he needs to be happy and active. My work schedule I go on travel and he needs to be more active.

Max’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Good person or person’s that are active with him show him affection and maybe have other dog’s he can play with.

Additional Comments:

I would like to know if he’s happy, healthy, and doing good. I rescued him from Italy as he was homeless and wasn’t taken care of.
