Orange tabby cat for adoption in edmonton

Orange Tabby Cat For Adoption in Edmonton AB – Supplies Included – Adopt Leo

Leo is a gorgeous orange tabby cat for adoption in Edmonton AB. Just 5 years old, Leo weighs 11 pounds. He is good with children and adults, but not a huge fan of other cats or dogs. Leo has been neutered and is up to date on shots. He is litter trained and micro-chipped.

Leo loves his owner with all his heart. He wants to be where you are, all the time. Whether you’re sitting in the “cat petting chair” (a.k.a. the toilet :-), doing the laundry, cooking or watching tv, Leo is there. Although he is not a lap cat, he shows lots of love by rubbing against your legs and getting his chin scratched.  He is a great conversationalist – he can say “meow” in any language!

Leo has a lot of anxiety when around large groups of people. He is terrified of Men that he does not know, but warms up once he gets to know you. Ideally, Leo’s new home will be with a retired person or couple who have a quiet home with a strong routine.  That is the environment in which Leo shines. He loves to hang out indoors, but is also leash trained, and enjoys going outside to hunt bugs in the grass and sun himself. He’s playful and smart – the perfect companion.

If you have room in your heart and home for this extra sweet male Orange Tabby Cat for adoption in Edmonton, please offer Leo his forever home today. He can’t wait to show you the true meaning of unconditional love. Adopt Leo today!

There is a $35 Adoption Fee – Supplies and vet records will  be included.

All About Leo

Leo’s Personality

He is very energetic, and loves to play. He loves to go outside and is leash trained. He wants to spend time with his people, and will talk to you all morning. He just wants to be in the same room with you and be your best bud. he’s not big into cuddling but he is big into chin scratches and will come rub up against you and give you love.

– sleeps on my feet every night
– quite the play mate
– loves chin scratches and to rub up against you. his love language is body checking you.
– he is honestly the handsomest cat in the whole world, he is so manly.
– he just wants to talk to me and spend time with me. he makes me feel loved.

Leo’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

He likes to play with string, feather toys, and chase plastic bottle caps. He loves to go outside although I only ever let him out on a leash. Sometimes I take him out in my cat backpack but he doesn’t like to be in it for long periods of time nor does he like to go into places where there are lots of people.

Cute Leo Story:

On the first night I had Leo I woke up to a weight on my chest and him staring at me. dead in the eye. I gave him a little scratch on the head, he went to my feet and he has slept in my bed on my feet ever since.

Why is Leo Being Rehomed?

I no longer am financially or emotionally able to live on my own. Unfortunately my family is deathly allergic, so to move back in with them I cannot bring him.

Leo’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I am hoping to find a family that is willing to play with him everyday, and give him the love and attention he deserves. Some body who like to listen to him talk to you and has lots of windows and is able to take him outside.

Additional Comments:

Leo is very very energetic. if he is not played with he will climb walls and destroy doors. I try to play with him every day before bed to ensure he goes to sleep. It just might be a rough few weeks when whoever first gets him as before he was a stray and then I house trained him. He is attached to me and I just do not have a frame of reference of how he will react to moving. He could be totally fine and chill he might not be, I don’t know. A friend is going to be fostering him for a bit as I have to be out of my current place by the end of the month, so if any behavior problems pop up I will let you know.

There is a $35 Adoption Fee – Supplies and vet records will  be included.
