Gino’s Current Family:
We are now a family of 4 now, we have a 4 year old and 3 month. Our work schedules are long and busy and with the little ones even busier.
Gino’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
He tolerated any brand of grain free food, loves when he gets some table food sides of sweet potato or greens when I make it for the family meal, and he loves any toy however they are destroyed instantly if they aren’t the tougher toys. He loves to go on walks or jogs and trips anywhere in the vehicle.
Why is Gino Being Rehomed?
Unfortunately we haven’t been able to devote as much time to him and I feel he needs to be with someone who can continue taking him out on walks or jogs and trips in the car to parks or trails. Our schedules don’t really allow for time other than the weekend and that even isn’t guaranteed time for him.
Gino’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
I would like someone who is experienced in handling a pit pull for one just because his breed gets a bad rap. He is scary when you see him but honestly he’s super sweet, he unexpectedly got out the gate one time and he waited for us the whole time at the front of the home, didn’t mess with anyone.
He is very strong so I would want someone who is able to control him when on a leash sometimes he does get side track when a dog barks at a fence and will run to it to play along the fence and forget you are holding his leash. He is also e-collar trained. He also needs space to move around in the home Bc he is not an outdoors dog, he stays inside 90% of the day.
And he also takes showers, he never has bathed outside and if you do he will definitely make it a challenge for you because he tries to run away. He’s very powerful when you play tug of war with a rope so again someone with some strength to play with him for sure.
