He is aggressive over his food and toys with other dogs.
He loves sitting with his human when they are home and loves sitting outside with them too being the look out.
Shiba Inus in general have territorial issues, so its hard to have him around other dogs because he thinks everything is his no other dog can hold a toy or have food only him.
I have 2 bigger dogs then him but he doesn’t try attack them I think because he’s used to one and the other is very submissive doesn’t want any problems so always walks away. I have a small 7lb dog who he got along with when they were pups but because of a lot family things with moving and all they got separated and Eddie has attacked him 3 times since and each time it was because my little dog was sitting on my lap.
So I keep them separated now, I believe he would be ok around other dogs but it would have to be seriously modified but I think he is better off in a home where hes the only child. He loves to snuggle with his human and all hes good with humans and listens to them. He is a very smart dog. You cannot trick him but he can be pretty well at training I just don’t have the time and I have too many dogs.
