Luna’s Current Family:

I am a 25 year old disabled vet who adopted Luna when I only had to be out of the house 8 hours a week for school. I also have a rescue cat I adopted while stationed overseas in Japan that also lives with me. She and I have a loving bond and I was hoping for the same with Luna.

Luna’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Favorite toys: Chew toys and bones

Foods: Alpo T-Bonz (treats) and Supreme Source grain-free dog food

Activities: walking

Cute Luna Story:

Why is Luna Being Rehomed?

Due to unforeseen circumstances with the Department of Veterans Affairs, I will have to switch to vocational nursing which is demanding and requires 40 hours a week of lectures on campus. Furthermore, the demands of her being potty trained will not be met with the new change in hours for school.

I have been able to get her to potty outside but she keeps having accidents indoors that will demand extra time in training her to remember pottying is done outside and not inside her crate or on the carpet.

Keeping Luna in a crate 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday would not be humane so I would rather have her rehomed to family that can give her the attention and care she needs.

She needs a family that will be attentive and sending her to a shelter means her being euthanized as they are running out of space for animals.

Luna’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Loving and cheerful and has the time to dedicate to potty-training Luna full time and supervising her until she can be trusted outside the crate.
