Just 20 months old and 45 lbs, this ice-blue eyed beauty is fixed, fully vaccinated, house broken, leash trained and very funny and adorable.

Her owners are living in a small apartment and have realized that they are not able to give Sushi the training, time and exercise that Huskies need.

Sushi is very healthy. She loves to romp and play, and is obsessed with toys. She loves it if you will hold her toy while she chomps on it. She is hilarious and very smart.

Sushi has separation anxiety, so will do well with owners who work from home or work alternating shifts. She would probably benefit from having another playful, high energy dog in her home.

Sushi’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished dog, but circumstances beyond their control have made rehoming a must-do:

Me and my wife live in a very small house, and Sushi stays at home with my wife all day. During the pandemic we were mostly in my house and Sushi became a very anxious dog and with serious separation anxiety. Now we can’t let Sushi being alone in my house because she gets frustrated and destroy something in less than 5min. In this meantime my wife couldn’t go out anymore because we don’t have a backyard for Sushi and since we live in this tiny house, she will destroy more. We believe that Sushi deserves a better place so she will socialize with dogs and people more often and then her anxiety will be gone. This was a painful decision but I believe this is the best for her and for us.

Sushi’s owners are hoping to find the right home for their cherished dog:

I want Sushi to have a big place with a family that gonna love her very much. She needs to be more with people and dogs and she really need someone who’s willing to train her from the beginning. Should be someone who knows what it means to have a Husky.

Cute Sushi Story:

We’re from Brazil, and as soon as we came here we found us in a lonely situation, that’s when we got her. But we were looking for a small to medium dog. We were looking for a Pomsky, and we were  fooled by the guy that sold us Sushi. My wife Mariana stay in home all day with her, and Sushi was a great companion to her.

When she has migraines Sushi always lays down with her and she doesn’t leave her side. She learned how to open our bedroom door, so specially on Saturdays when I don’t work and we get up late, she opens the door and jumps on our bed to wake us up (we ended up putting something in the door to stop her from doing that eventually)

Why is Sushi Being Rehomed?
