Hi, My name is STELLA!
[button link=”http://petrehoming.net/adopt-a-pet/” size=”large” variation=”hotpink” align=”center”]Request to Meet STELLA Here![/button]
There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.
Stella has to be one of the nicest dogs in the Atlanta area. This incredibly sweet and well behaved Boxer and American Bulldog mix is just 5 years old, spayed, up to date on her shots, and extremely healthy. Stella currently lives with her foster owner in Atlanta, Georgia, but would be happy to relocate for a good home.
Stella is SO LOVING! She lives just to be near her humans. She has undergone extensive obedience training, and has blossomed into such a polite dog. Her life seems to revolve around pleasing her owner and getting lots of cuddles and belly rubs.
Stella is currently being cared for by her foster owner. Tragically, her owner has become very ill, and can no longer care for her. Her foster owner is dearly hoping to find Stella a wonderful home where she will cherished and well cared for the rest of her days.
Stella’s ideal home will be one where she is the only pet. Around other dogs, Stella is an “Alpha”, and although she gets along with most dogs, they often don’t take kindly to her wanting to be top dog. Stella has never been around cats, but shows a lot of interest in chasing squirrels and other small creatures, so may want to add chasing cats to her resume. For these reasons, it is best that she be the only pet in the home.
Got kids? She loves them! She is the ultimate family dog. She is gentle and kind with children and adults alike. Such a good girl.
Stella and her foster owner are hoping to find her a loving family who own their own home with a securely fenced back yard. Ideally they would have lots of time to spend with her. She loves to go on walks and is leash trained to perfection. Stella is crate trained, so can be on her own for a few hours each day. She does want a family that will give her lots of attention and love when they get home, though.
Stella would also be a fantastic choice for active retired people looking for a companion. She is happy to hang out with you and does not need a ton of exercise. She does like a good daily walk, though. She also LOVES going places in the car.
Please help bring a happy ending to this tragic situation and offer Stella the loving home she needs and very much deserves. She is one of those dogs that make you feel 100% loved and appreciated.

Small Children, Older Children
Stella is the most affectionate of all the rescue dogs I have helped to get homes for in 15 years. Also she is interactive so much with me and other people that she can be termed an extrovert for sure. SHE ADORES PEOPLE! With her Professional Obedience training, Stella acts like a lady, all 68 pounds of her and is just quite a vibrant soul. She can sometimes pull on leash but with her collar and commands, she will relax and walk again nicely on her leash. She gets better every day. She actually sits and WATCHES TV, and I know she understands all that she sees too. Stella loves leash walks and a little running , (nice amount of exercise) along with going for carrides. She likes kids and actually lived with a little girl at her owners home for 4 yrs while the little girl was 2 thru 6. They were the best buds. Altho Stella lived with dogs there, they got along, because Stella was the alpha with the other dogs
were ok with that. But because of her role there, I really want to place her as an Only Pet. Other dogs may not be so keen on Stella bossing them around. Re cats, altho she has not lived with them, she really is too too interested in small furry animals like squirrels and chipmunks and will really chase them when given a chance. She prob would NOT like a cat in her home for sure.
Reason For Rehoming
I took back ownership of Stella after 4 yrs of her being adopted out by me because owner – Adopter is acutely ill and could not take care of her anymore. He officially relinquished her back to me 2 months ago. Her ID chip vet records are now all in my name.
