Brown Tabby Cat For Adoption in San Antonio

Meet Cayenne, Tabby Cat For Adoption in San Antonio Texas

Cayenne is a Female Tabby Cat for adoption to a very loving home in or near San Antonio, Texas. This very special Cat is 4 years years old and weighs 10 pounds. Cayenne has been spayed and is up to date on shots. She is in good health and will be rehomed with all supplies and vet records.

Cayenne has so many qualities that make her a wonderful companion. She is very loving and sweet – a cat that really knows how to make you feel special. She can talk, and loves to tell you about her day. She is still playful, and loves to pounce on string and play with her toy mice. And her favorite activity is to curl up with you on the couch for lots and lots of snuggling and rubs.

Cayenne is in desperate need of a very loving home where she can be the only cat. She is currently living in a home with many cats and many people. She is being bullied by one of the cats in her home, and as a result is suffering from stress, which has caused her to have crystals in her urine. Her vet has said that she needs to be in a stress free home with just one or two cat lovers. In the right home, Cayenne will feel happy and safe.

If you are a cat lover looking for a really sweet and cuddly tabby cat, Cayenne is the cat for you. Adopt this sweet Tabby cat in San Antonio TX today. She is a “ready-to-love” cat – just adopt and enjoy! She can’t wait to purr her way into your heart and home.

Cayenne’s Current Home Environment

Right now our home is very chaotic. We have 5 cats (including Cayenne) and 1 dog. We also have 5 adults living in the same house. We all work together and our job requires us to be gone a lot. So there is very little stability in our day to day lives.

Currently Cayenne is kept on a separate side of the house because our male cat JD is very aggressive (only with Cayenne). This is a new development that occurred after JD was really sick and then recovered.

Cayenne’s Current Family:

Currently Cayenne is kept on a separate side of the house because our male cat JD is very aggressive (only with Cayenne). This is a new development that occurred after JD was really sick and then recovered.

Cayenne’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She loves to chase mice and any toy on a string. She is currently on a C/D food diet to help with her urinary problems. And she loves to take long naps in our outdoor catio!

Cute Cayenne Story:

Cayenne is extremely vocal and has not problem carrying on a conversation. She is always chittering and going on about something. She is so incredibly sweet and loving and she just wants to play or sleep.

Why is Cayenne Being Rehomed?

Right now Cayenne and one of our other cats JD cannot be kept in the same area. If they are anywhere near each other JD attacks Cayenne, which stresses her out, and then causes her to develop crystals in her bladder.

This could maybe be worked through if we had time to reintroduce them but we are only home about 3 days every week. This means that Cayenne is being kept separate from the other cats. Which is hard because that also means being kept separate from most people and she loves being where we are.

Unfortunately we just don’t have the time recondition them or to spend adequate time with her to justify keeping her separate. And we will not be in our current living situation forever and I don’t know if we will have the room to keep them separate in the next place we live.

Cayenne’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

We are looking for a family that doesn’t have another animal (or if they do the animal is calm) that has a rather stable work schedule and a lot of patience. Cayenne is super loving and sweet but she is also territorial. I don’t think she would mind kids as long as they are older. But basically we want to her to go somewhere that can provide her a loving home where she can just relax and not be worried about her safety.
