Tally’s Current Home Environment

We bought a small starter home cozy enough for a young growing family. Very quiet neighborhood great for walks, which she loves.

Tally’s Current Family:

My wife and I have been together for 8 years, married for 1. My wife was born and raised in LA and loves animals. But Tally bonded with me the most because I work from home, especially that first week here from the shelter, wherein she was learning to trust us.

Tally’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She has an adorable overbite but makes it hard for her to grab the bigger toys for a dog her size. She loves stuffed animals, especially the ones with a squeaker. Loves her treats: Dentastix, Pupperoni, Beggin’ Strips and Paul Newman cookie treats. She loves walks and hikes. Loves exploring.

Cute Tally Story:

It was maybe a month before we heard her bark. We thought she might never bark or maybe even couldn’t bark. But one day we were outside, and she let out a single WOOF that surprised us. The mailman had left a package at the door and she was alerting us to his presence. That’s when we knew that she was finally comfortable enough with us. She spoke.

Why is Tally Being Rehomed?

We just had a baby, currently 3 months old, and for many reasons to do with that, we are overwhelmed and unable to give Tally the home she deserves. We’re beyond saddened that we have to make this choice, but we’d rather she find a great loving home than be shortchanged with us.

Tally’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Tally is such a great dog and deserves all the love that someone is willing to give her. She soaks it up like a sponge. She will greet you at the door ALWAYS, and will return your affection tenfold. We would love to get an update once or twice a year at least.
