Hi, My name is Toby!
Do you have room in your heart and home for wonderful Black Lab mix? I am a gentle, super sweet dog. I love children and am a very calm, obedient boy. I am 6 years young, healthy, neutered and up to date on my vaccinations.
My owners love me very much, but the realize that with a new baby and a small child, that they just don’t have time to provide me with the care, exercise and attention I deserve and need. They are also having to move, and are finding it difficult to locate a rental that will allow a dog of my size (70 lbs).
My perfect forever home will be with a family, couple or single with a big, securely fenced yard, and lots of time to hang out with me. I love to fetch, wag my tail, and gaze lovingly into your eyes. I am a super good “welcome home committee”. You can count on me pulling out all the stops to give you a warm welcome – whether you have been gone all day – or just 5 minutes.
I will bring with me my dog beds and kennel, and I can’t wait to meet you.

Toby’s Personality
The most loving dog! He is big but we call him our “gentle giant”. He was abused as a puppy so he gets nervous in certain situations but has never shown any signs of aggression.
Toby’s Current Home Environment
We have a 5 year old little girl and a 10 month old baby boy. He has never shown any signs of aggression towards the kids. They love him

We are a family of 4–my husband and I, our daughter who is 5 and our son who is 10 months. We live near Ft. Lauderdale Florida but are looks to relocate to Miami in the near future

Why is Toby Being Rehomed?
We are not giving Toby the attention we feel he deserves. We are also looking to relocate and because of his size, have found it very difficult to find a home that will allow him. We think it is best to try to find a home with a family that will love him as much as we do.
Toby’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
He is so great with kids that I think he would make the perfect family dog. He is big so a place where he has lots of room to run is a must. Most importantly I was a family that will give him the attention that I can not.
