REHOMED – Toffee – Purebred American Bobtail Cat -Parker, CO

Toffee Found Her Forever Home!

Cody and Carly opened their hearts and home to Toffee, despite the knowledge of her past litter box issues. We are thrilled that they had the love and patience to accept her, warts and all. Once she adjusted to her new surroundings, her litter box issues resolved, and she is now enjoying being the center of their world. Congratulations on your new home, Toffee, and sincere thanks to Cody and Carly for their kindness in adopting this beautiful cat.

From Toffee’s Original Owners:

Hi –

We met with Cody and Carly and they adopted Toffee and took her home.   Thank you so much for your help and for your service.  You are an amazing person to provide this to people and animals in need.  We are very happy with Toffee’s new home and are thrilled that it was so easy and so quick.  Cody and Carly are awesome and we are confident Toffee has a great home with people who will love her and take exceptional care of her.

Thanks again,

Cherie and Ray

Here is how our Rehoming Team presented Toffee to attract the right home for her:

Hi, My name is Toffee!

Long haired tabby cat for adoption in colorado

Have you been thinking about adding a feline companion to your home? I am probably one of the most exquisite cats you will ever meet. I am a purebred American Bobtail! I have a stunning medium length classic tabby coat, with matching grey/green eyes and a very cute bobbed tail. I am only 3 years old.  I am very healthy, up to date on my vaccinations and spayed.

In keeping with my stunning good looks, I have quite the personality! I am entertaining, to say the least! I love to play with my toys. I am also very sweet and affectionate. I get along great with dogs – in fact, I sometimes think I am a dog!

I am OK with other cats, too, but would really prefer to be an only cat in your home. I am a bit territorial, and have had a couple of accidents outside the litter box. It’s just me letting the other cat’s in my home know that I consider myself the queen of the castle. As an only cat, this really should not be an issue.

My owners are so sad to have to find me a new home –  they had hoped to keep me forever. Unfortunately, they have suffered some serious health problems, and are having to move to a more manageable residence where there are pet restrictions. They are hoping to find me a loving, forever home where I will be cherished, kept safe, happy and healthy.  I am such a charming and affectionate kitty – I deserve the very best home.

If you would like to offer me the home I need and deserve, please fill out our online information form below. Once received, my owners will call you to chat and arrange a mutually convenient time to meet me.

Toffee’s Current Family:

We are married and do not have any children

Toffee’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She loves cat toys and foam balls, she loves to climb and be high up, she has been known to play fetch, she goes bonkers for treats and will come running from anywhere, she eats canned and dry food.

Cute Toffee Story:

Toffee loves her dad and will follow him around and talk to him.

Why is Toffee Being Rehomed?

We are faced with downsizing due to failing health. We will be moving to a place where there are pet restrictions. We feel that Toffee is the most likely to find a new home out of all of our pets because she is a purebred.

Toffee’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

We are hoping for an American Bobtail enthusiast that has experience working with, and solving, the occasional litter box issue. She has been known to urinate on bathroom throw rugs and dog beds. She does use the litter box.
