German Shepherd Rottweiler Mix For Adoption in San Diego

REHOMED in just 6 days! Willow found her forever human in the form of Nico and his roommates, a group of twenty something fitness professionals. Nico has always loved dogs since he was a boy, and had been looking for the right dog to add love and joy to his life. Willow will have someone home spending time with her almost constantly, and will get lots of exercise and attention.

We’ll post updates on how Willow is doing at a later date.

Congratulations, Willow!

Here is how our rehoming team presented Willow to attract her new owner:

Hi, My name is Willow!

German shepherd rottweiler mix for adoption in san diego

[button link=”http://petrehoming.net/adopt-a-pet/” size=”large” variation=”hotpink” align=”center”]Request to Meet Willow Here![/button]

There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.

She’s a Willow in the Wind. Gorgeous Willow is an amazing mix of German Shepherd and Doberman Pinscher and she desperately needs a new permanent home as her owners have to move to Japan for work and family reasons on short notice. They can’t see putting her into the very lengthy quarantine process (months).
The best option available for Willow and the people who love her is to find Willow a new home.

Willow is a beautiful girl who is used to being the only pet. She is just 3 years old and very healthy. Willow has had all her shots, has been spayed and micro-chipped. She does have an allergy to chicken, which can be easily avoided.

She is perfectly house trained, crate trained and has undergone obedience training. She is an intelligent dog who requires attention and would be best suited to somebody who has experience with similar breeds. She is used to an indoor life with her family and fairly regular exercise. Despite her cuddly nature, she wants to be an alpha dog and needs regular activity. An ideal home for this dog will offer her daily walks and play time with people.

She is looking to be an only pet in a home with no children under the age of 12. She has never been around small children and does not get along well with other dogs or pets.

She’s used to being the center of attention, and will reward you with lots of attention in return. Willow could be the perfect companion for many people.

If you would like to consider offering Willow a loving, forever home, please fill out our Request To Meet A Pet form here:

Once received, we will contact you to discuss your request and set up a mutually convenient time to meet Willow and their owner in their home.

Personality

Willow is very people friendly. I have not tested her around children, but because of her dominant nature I assume she may be a better fit around adults only.

Willow is a snuggle bug, extremely affectionate and loves to play. She is very gentle when playing. Willow loves to be active and is a very quick learner when trained.

Reason For Rehoming

I had a death in the family and am considering moving overseas to take on a more active role in my family business that requires much travel and extensive leave. I don’t think the life I may pursue is acceptable for having a dog with me.
