Cute Ivy Story:

Ivy has a dominant personality and when I first got her from a bad situation, I was unsure how she’d respond to being around other dogs as whenever she’d see one she’d cry at the window and be hyper-fixated.

When we moved to Charlotte, we took her outside to the dog park of the apartment despite being nervous and not knowing how she’d react. When she got out there, she was circled by so many dogs and instantly became so popular, she looked overwhelmed initially but then felt comfortable and started to play and run around with the dogs, especially two that she became really good friends with. With her being dominant, she usually would never let another dog have her in any kind of “weak” position but when she would play she would roll around on the ground and let the dogs mess with her and she just looked so happy and joyful and it made me very happy.

Why is Ivy Being Rehomed?

I’ve been having health issues and recently discovered that I’m allergic to dogs and the allergy has overtime been exacerbating my health issues to being more serious than before.

Ivy is also deserving of an opportunity to play more and get more attention as I’m working most of the time.
