Adopt a chihuahua in edmonton alberta - supplies included - adopt loveable lizzy

Meet Lizzy, Chihuahua For Adoption in Edmonton AB

Looking to adopt a Chihuahua in Edmonton? Lizzy is waiting to meet you!

Lizzy is a 6 year old female smooth coated Chihuahua for adoption in Edmonton AB. Lizzy is a typically cute little dog with a huge personality. She loves her favourite person with all her heart and sticks to them like glue.

She considers herself to be your ferocious protector, and can take it a bit too far (she nipped a repairman who came in the house before he could be properly introduced). She is definitely a dog that needs to be placed in a home without children or cats.

Lizzy is healthy, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, crate trained, leash trained and ready to love. Lizzy needs a bit of help with house-training; someone with lots of time to spend with her will be able to have this problem licked in no time.

Lizzy is being rehomed by her owner. She will be moving to Mexico in the coming months, and cannot take Lizzy, nor her other dog, Jacko the Shih Tzu, with her. Lizzy can be adopted on her own, or with her doggie house-mate.

If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet little 10 pound bundle of love and licks, please adopt Lizzy today. She can’t wait to steal your heart.

Lizzy’s Personality

Lizzy is super sweet. She loves to cuddle and get her belly rub. She can be high energy at time. It takes some special introductions when she first meet someone, but once she knows them, she loves them for life. She sometimes get so happy and excited when my friends come over that she will pee a little and lay on her back to get her belly rub. She is very affectionate and when she wants to be petted, she uses her front paw to move your hand. she can be a bit jealous if people pay attention to my other dog instead of her. She is playful and likes to nibbles at Jacko’s ears. She sometimes get aggressive with him and I don’t know why. She is definitively the dominant one.

I have another dog. They get along but they are not bonded.

Why is Lizzy Being Rehomed?

I’m moving to Mexico and cannot take her with me

Lizzy’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Lizzy should go to a home with someone who is almost always home (senior or retired) and who is patient with her. She is a really smart dog and will need some positive reinforcement to master her potty training. In winter, small dogs find it difficult to go outside in the snow, so pee pad training should work well for her. All in all, she is a typically charming and adorable small lap dog that will offer her lucky new owner many years of love, joy, laughter and companionship. Adopt Lizzy today!
