Every time we get home from town Lacy and Lola greet us. Usually Lola comes first and then Lacy will run full speed at Lola and bash into her out of excitement.
Why is Lacy Being Rehomed?
Our “dog dynamics” are just not working out. One of our dogs has become aggressive towards our other dog that spends most of her time indoors. Because Lacy is closely bonded with Lola, the aggressor in the situation, we would like to rehome them as a bonded pair. We will consider separating them for a very good home.
Lacy’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
I want them to love her like I love her. We hang stockings for our pets at Christmas time. I want them to love her, cuddle her when she needs it and give her the space to do her job. Reward her for her hard work and be able to spend more time with her than I can. She is fiercely loyal, and I need the family to understand what this means. She views her land as her job to protect, and takes it seriously.
We live on 160 acres and they have access to about 10 acres to roam. So being on an acreage is a must for her. And if there is livestock – that’s a bonus, she thrives when she can protect a herd of sorts.
Ideally she would also have a space to go when she needs out of the elements like we have here for her. She goes under the deck a lot in the summer and winter. We have a dog house but she isn’t sure about it yet.
