Frank’s Personality

He is a very loving happy boy. Timid when first meeting someone but once he gets enough smells he then can’t get close enough to give you many kisses. He could be more energetic if he had someone to play with but I am 80 and am very unstable on my feet. I have not had him around children. He is somewhat trained but I used an e collar just in case (before my accident) He and my cat tolerate each other but I think he would chase if he could. He would do well with an alfa adult and more training. He is a very lovely young dog.His treats are chunks of sweet potato, carrots and apples.

I only have 2 weeks to find him a home. My children are selling my beautiful house and yard because I am unable to take care of it anymore. And also because I can’t walk Frank anymore. I pay someone to walk him. I am moving to a condo that does not take dogs.

Why is Frank Being Rehomed?

I rescued him from some kids who were kicking him around when he was about 4 months old. We walked 2 miles every day and he has a yard to run around in, but truthfully he spends most of his day inside sleeping. He is a major couch potato.

I am 80 years old, I fell and broke my pelvis and spine and can no longer walk him. It breaks my heart to give him up but I must.
He is a happy loving boy and weighs 70 pounds. He thinks his mission in life is to sit as close to you as possible and give you kisses and love.

He needs a strong person who can walk him because he does exhibit dog aggression. He had another dog in the house but unfortunately, he is now gone. I don’t know how he would be with another dog but I think he needs to be the only dog in an all-adult house.
He would add so much love and goofy fun to someone’s life like he has to mine. I am moving to a place that doesn’t allow dogs so I must very tearfully give him up.
