Blue is as happy chilling on the couch as he is swimming at the beach or playing fetch in the backyard. Although he is OK with other dogs when properly introduced, he does not appreciate other dogs running up to him when out for a walk.
Blue would be a good fit for a home with a small dog, being an “only dog” and getting all the attention would be his preference. He would love to be part of a family with some active, older kids and a big securely fenced yard.

Blue’s Personality
Blue is a sweet, cuddly bear who loves to snuggle your neck while you’re rubbing his ears. He loves being a couch potato but also loves going for a walk, going to the lake (he loves water), sunbathing and playing with ropes, plush toys, and bones. Blue needs a slow introduction to new dogs and does really well with smaller dogs. He is easy to walk on the leash and doesn’t give issues with pulling but we always stay aware of our surroundings as he does not do good with unleashed dogs/stray dogs running up to him and invading his personal space. Although, he loves to play his play growl can sometimes be intimidating or misinterpreted so we recommend slowly introducing play with a new dog. He knows his basic commands and does really well with “sit” and “paw.”Blue does not mind kids and would do really well with older kids that could play with him and wear him out. He is not on a special diet, besides grain-free but would do well with a slow introduction to a new food.
Blue is such a sweetheart and deserves a home where he can flourish and show his amazing personality. Although he is not a fan of cats, I believe with a slow introduction he could do well with them. He also does really well with smaller dogs but needs a slow introduction to playing with them and knowing their boundaries as well. I also think he would do well with a medium to big backyard as he likes to play fetch!
Why is Blue Being Rehomed?
Blue and our female pit do not get along. I believe it’s because they do not play well together and he has also become possessive of us as well.
