Honey’s Personality

She is a high energy girl who loves lots of playtime and long walks. She is very cuddly and loves being close with her family. She is also very smart and loves training time that I give her!

Honey’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Her favorite toys are squeaky animal toys! She especially loves wet dog food (specifically from the brand Heritage Ranch). Her favorite activities are lots of walking/running, any activity that can be done outdoors.

Cute Honey Story:

One funny memory is when I tried putting a hat with cute ears on my pet. She immediately disliked it and hilariously struggled to get it off, making us both laugh. It was a brief but adorable moment that showed her playful personality.

Why is Honey Being Rehomed?

Honey was a brave girl originally came into my life as a stray who wandered around my apartment complex. Upon learning that she was at high risk of euthanization at ACS, I took her in with the intention of finding her a loving forever home. It’s been approximately 6-7 months since she became a part of my life, but despite my efforts, I have been unsuccessful in finding her a suitable home.

Honey is a wonderful dog, but she does have some challenges. She is reactive and suffers from separation anxiety, which has made it difficult to find the right fit for her. Additionally, she is a high-energy dog who would thrive in a home with a yard where she can have more space to run and play.

At this point, I am unable to keep Honey permanently, but I am committed to finding her the right home where she will be loved and cared for. I have even taken it upon myself to provide her with training while she’s been with me. I have reached out to all the no-kill shelters in my area, but unfortunately, none have the space available to take Honey in. This is why I am reaching out to you, hoping that you may be able to offer assistance.

Honey’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I am looking for a patient and loving owner who will be able to take time to help her with her problems such as her reactivity/separation anxiety. I am also looking for someone who is truly able to afford training and able to take her for her vet visits.
