Grey Tabby and Longhaired Black cat for adoption in Calgary AB

Grey tabby and black cats for rehoming in calgary ab

Meet Max and Mocha, a Grey Tabby and Long Haired Black cat for adoption by owner in Calgary Alberta. This precious pair of oldies-but-goodies are looking for a loving home where they can enjoy the remaining years of their lives.

Max is 16 years young. He is a grey tabby with an adorable face and a chubby body. He is a lap cat – whether you like it or not! Quite the cuddle-bunny.

Mocha is a stunning black long haired cat. She is a healthy and happy 17 year old that will purr up a storm when you call her name, and loves to cuddle and play with her toys on a string. She also loves to nap in sunbeams and follow her favorite human around the house.

Max and Mocha’s owner is devastated that she has to rehome the cats, which she has had since 2005. Life has played a very mean trick on her by giving her 2 young children severe cat allergies. She has tried every possible method to make her home allergen-free, but her son’s are experiencing breathing problems and hives.

The owner is dearly hoping to find a cat lover who will take her two cherished cats and give them a healthy, happy home filled with love for these senior sweethearts. Both cats are healthy (a little heavy at the moment, but who isn’t?). They are such a delight to own. They add so much kindness and sweetness to life and show their appreciation for any little cuddle or chin-rub. Although they are older, cats can live up to 20 years, so they still have life to live.

If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet pair of senior cats, please get in touch today. Max and Mocha are waiting to enchant you.

Max and Mocha – Grey Tabby and Longhaired Black cat For Adoption in Calgary Alberta

Max and Mocha’s Personality

Mocha, my Sheba. She is a spayed, tattooed female long-haired black domestic cat that I rescued. No health problems. She purrs when you call her name and is a such happy girl. Since she is a senior she sleeps most of the day but will chase a laser and string.

She is super friendly and enjoys lap cuddles and just wants all of the love. She will follow you throughout the house and keep you company in whatever you do. She prefers quiet and will go somewhere quiet if it’s too loud and busy.

She is good with kids but will enjoy living out her life having all the attention. She is extremely soft to the touch and has a beautiful coat. Moderate grooming required or a yearly shave. She is a gentle soul that would bring anyone joy. She can shake a paw and beg for treats.

Max (Maximus). 16-year-old neutered Male, short hair domestic cat with tattoo and microchip. No health problems. I rescued Max from the Humane Society when I volunteered there. His name was Speedy there as he was fast. He is a thick-bodied cat that has lots of love.

This cat is extremely great with kids and can tolerate dress-up, pick-ups and loud noises. Max has so much love and will lick and headbutt you to get attention. He has lots of energy and will play with all sorts of toys. H

e is a senior and sleeps lots but his energy will fool you. He loves his food and treats and can shake a paw and beg. He can adjust to any environment but would prefer no dogs and sometimes he thinks he is one himself

They are used to the unscented cat litter at Walmart. Seems to be the best brand they like.

Why is Max and Mocha Being Rehomed?

It is breaking my heart to write this, but I need to rehome my two cats. My boys are extremely allergic and my allergist has recommended we become a pet-free home as soon as we can. Both my boys have asthma, now are on nasal sprays and eye drops due to allergies.

My one son breaks out in hives every time he touches them but loves them so much. This is a hard choice as I’ve had my cats since 2005 and they are my family and my boys love them so much.

Thank you for your interest in this deserving Grey Tabby and Longhaired Black cat for adoption in Alberta.
