When he’s not herding his humans, Dexter can be found playing ball and going for walks. This handsome boy would love to have lots of space to run with an experienced owner who understand the needs of Dexter’s breed. He would enjoy being the sole recipient of belly rubs and will make a wonderful companion. Dexter has so much love to give and can’t wait to meet you!

Dexter is a handsome young guy, eager to learn. He will do best as a single pet as he prefers to have his humans to himself. He is a smart guy but will need a home that will give him the mental stimulation required for his breed. He will thrive with a job to do – he would do great if he could be with somebody who understands the breed. He is loyal and wants to please. Loves playing fetch and loves herding his humans. He will do well in an active home that will provide him with the exercise he needs to flourish. Loves children. Dexter would do well on an acreage/farm/active individuals etc. Extremely smart loves his toys, could play ball all day long!
Why is Dexter Being Rehomed?
This is my parents dog – unfortunately my mom has taken a turn for the worse and my dad is 100% caregiver, he is 89 years of age and still tries to walk Dexter twice a day, this is now taking a toll on him as he cares for my mom.
