Koa’s Current Home Environment
Busy! Both parents work. Kids are involved with many afterschool activities. Koa gets a visit from our dog walker during the day while we are work and school. He stays on the main floor in a gated area so he won’t eat anything. We have a nice sized backyard he enjoys by digging many holes.
Koa’s Current Family:
Kids are 10 and 7. We got koa as a puppy so he has been used to kids since the start. We are a dual working family with lots of afterschool activities. Koa gets walks mornings or evenings as well as during the day by our dog walker.
Koa’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
He loves to chew. So he has a number of chew toys, tug rope and chuck it for at the park. He also loves to swim so he has some swim toys. He loves his kongs as he knows there will be treats inside for him.
Cute Koa Story:
Koa thinks he is a child like our two kids! He honestly believes he should sit in the couch like them, eat like them! It is cute to watch.
Why is Koa Being Rehomed?
We simply do not have the time to give him what he needs. Koa is high energy and wants lots of attention. He deserves a family that can devote more time to playing and walking him.
Koa’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Although Koa has grown up with kids I think he would do better in a home with no kids. He would do awesome in a home with one or two other dogs to play with. A family that has fur babies would be an ideal home. He was attention and lots of it.
Additional Comments:
Koa is a wonderful dog. I know he digs holes and eats things because he’s bored. He wants to have playmates(other dogs) and we don’t have room for another dog. He is handsome and loves to swim. He has always been great with kids and other dogs. When we got Koa we were a one parent working home. Unfortunately things changed and we both are working which means Koa does not get the attention he deserves.
