Meet Dodger, Chihuahua Dog Rehomed in Nashville TN
Meet Dodger, an adorable 9 pound Chihuahua looking for a very special home in or near Nashville, TN. Dodger is just 7 years old, very healthy, fixed and up to date on shots. Dodger is house trained, leash trained and crate trained. In other words, he is perfect!
If you have been looking for a very devoted lap dog to add love, joy, laughter and companionship to life, Dodger is your dream doggie. He packs so much love and personality into his tiny, 9 pound body. Dodger is very good with other dogs. He adores people, but like most Chihuahuas, likes to attach himself like a barnacle to his one special person.
Dodger’s owner and her husband love this little guy so much. They are heartbroken to have to make the decision to rehome him, but after their first child arrived and became mobile, it has become apparent that Dodger is terrified of her. This is very common in Chihuahuas and other tiny breeds – they are just not a good fit with small children.
His owners want the best for Dodger. They want him to feel safe and happy in his home, and are looking for a dog lover who will cherish him. Ideally, a retired person or someone who works from home would be the right fit – Dodger is so happy when he can spend his time cuddled up in his owners lap. He is crate trained, so would also be fine with someone who works part time.
Dodger will be rehomed with vet records and any supplies the owners have on hand for him. If you have been searching for a special Chihuahua to adore, Dodger is waiting to meet you. This is one little dog that is sure to leave tiny paw prints on your heart
All About Dodger – Chihuahua Dog Rehomed in Nashville TN
Lazy, easy going, low maintenance, snuggly, wonderful, loves walks
Not compatible with children
Dodger feels threatened by our 15 month old and lashes out at him if he gets close or tries to touch him.
Why is Dodger Being Rehomed?
We love our dog dearly. We rescued him from a shelter at 2 months old and have had him since. Our 15 month old is on the move and wants to play with our dog, but our dog is heartened by him and has bitten him multiple times.
Dodger as a baby.
