Jazz’s Personality

1. His happy disposition.
2. I love watching him run. He’s a beautiful animal.
3. I love his gentle licks that tell me he loves me.
4. I love how easy-going he is. He genuinely likes to get along with other dogs.
5. He is lots of fun to play with. I don’t worry about him playing too rough or nipping.
6. I love how safe I feel with him. He is a great watch dog.

Jazz’s Current Home Environment

I live in a condominium without a yard so Jazz is walked at least 3 times per day. He also goes to the dog park a couple times per week so he can stretch and run. He lives with his little brother, Charlie, who is the alpha male by Jazz’s gracious difference. They get along fine but I think Jazz would enjoy a dog he could play more with. Jazz is fed twice per day, morning and evening.

I feed then great free chicken wellness core and a couple tablespoons of grain free canned chicken along with his dry food in the evening. My environmental is a little dull for Jazz. I think he would like a house with older kids and another dog that he could play with.

Jazz’s Current Family:

It’s just me, Jazz and hos little brother, Charlie.

Jazz’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

He loves to run and and play with other dogs. He loves to play with me where he has a toy and I try to get it from him. He loves treats like bacon!

Cute Jazz Story:

Jazz has one ear up and one ear down and it’s just adorable when you talk to him and he trying to figure out what you’re saying. He has a nickname of Don Juan at the dog park because he loves to jump up and kiss all the ladies at the park.

He actually knows more people than I do there. I often hear people that I have never met call him by name while there. He’s very popular because he greets everyone that comes in.

Why is Jazz Being Rehomed?

I have some health issues that are chronic and progressive. I need to move in with my daughter and she is not allowed to have a large dog in her rental. I don’t want to let him go but I really need my daughter’s help. I love this dog more than any other dog I’ve had. I really want him to have a good, happy home with someone who can love him as much as I do.

Jazz’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I would love to see him placed with a family with older kids. I suggest older as he has a tendency to jump up and worry he would accidentally knock over a younger child. He loves children and other dogs. I think he also really needs a yard. He likes to be petted and played with so is not a dog who lives out in a yard alone. He’s a gentle soul so would not do well with someone too stern.

Additional Comments:

Jazz has been extremely well loved and cared for. I just spent over $4,000 dollars to repair his knee so that he could run and play again. I really hope that whoever is lucky enough to have him continues to give him the love and care he deserves.
