Jackson - Grey Tuxedo Cat For Adoption To Loving Home in Colorado 3

Hi, My name is Jackson.

Jackson - grey tuxedo cat for adoption to loving home in colorado 3

You can call me Jack! What a great cat I am! I am a grey tuxedo cat with a very loving personality. I have a short, smooth coat and am just 7 years old. I have only one eye – the other eye never developed when I was a kitten. It doesn’t hold me back at all, and my owner lovingly called me “One Eyed Jack”. I was adopted by my owner from a shelter, but he passed away recently. I live in Morrison, CO, just to the southwest of Denver. I have been neutered and am very healthy and up to date on my vaccinations.

I loved my owner so very much, and he loved me, too. I am very sad that he passed away. His wife is having to move to an apartment that does not allow cats, so she and I are dearly hoping to find me a loving home where I will be cherished and well cared for the rest of my days.

Here’s what she loves the most about me:

  • Sweet
  • Loves to hit my hand for scratch usually first thing in the morning when its just us
  • Plays chase with the dogs
  • Loves to sleep in sunbeams
  • Not picky about his food or litter

I get along very well with cat-friendly dogs. I am really clean and well behaved – I use my litter box religiously and never scratch on furniture. I just need a loving home with someone who will cherish me. I am a low-maintenance pet. All I need is some food, a clean litter box and someone to give me affection, rubs and a spot to sleep on the bed. I am a very empathetic cat, and like to keep you company and make sure that you know you are loved.

Please offer my a home today. I can’t wait to purr my way into your heart.

Love, Jack

Jackson aka Jack’s Current Home Environment

Large home, 3 levels for Jack to play and hide in. He has been strictly an indoor cat with an occasional outing to the deck where he is supervised at all times.

Jackson aka Jack’s Current Family:

Jack was my husbands cat but he (Jack) let me love him too. My husband passed away over a year ago and I am moving into a condo that allows only 2 animals and I believe Jack would be the animal that will rehome easiest. We don’t have children but my niece and her best friend lived with me for about 9 months after my husband died. They are 23 years old. Jack warmed up to both girls quickly and slept on one of their beds most nights.

Jackson aka Jack’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Mostly Costco maintenance Cat food with a tablespoon of fancy feast.

Cute Jackson aka Jack Story:

As stated previously, Jack was my husbands cat. He sat with him days on end, patiently waiting for head scratch. My husband named him Jack because Jack has only one eye. The other eye never developed. Thus the name Jack – the -one-eyed-cat. My husband had only one eye also, my husband would tell friends (after a few drinks) that he and Jack would go on walks and walk in circles. It was funny at the time.

Why is Jackson aka Jack Being Rehomed?

As stated previously, I am moving to a condo that only allows 2 pets and Jack will re-home easier than the dogs.

Jackson aka Jack’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

Someone who wants him to be a part of their family. Who will love him, treat him well, and make sure he has a sunbeam to sleep in occasionally.
