He is a great dog and keeps me laughing at his silly ways. He loves attention, car rides, people, dogs, giving kisses and walks well on a leash. He will go in the water at the lake if you get in with him. He tolerates a bath and is patient when he is being groomed. I groom him most of the time but he has gone to professional groomers and they say that he does well. He knows the following commands: sit, stay, down, shake, up, back, speak, kennel, and bed. We are working on leave it and turn. He is a jumper, as in he likes to leap over things, and would do well at an obstacle course.

There are so many things to tell. Sometimes I put dog videos on TV for him to watch and it is so cute how he will sit there and watch everything that is going on. Or if I’m watching a movie and there is a dog on there, he will stop what he is doing and watch it. He is just so smart that I get amazed by all the things he comprehends. When I go to put on his collar he will take his paw and push my hand away as if to say “I don’t think so!” Or when I give him a command and he barks like he is talking back. His personality is strong but as long as you let him know who’s boss he will love you so much.
