She loves to cuddle, she loves to chase balls and fetch (although she hasn’t been able to relax since our daughter was born so she plays less), she loves butter and coconut oil (go figure), she loves to run up and down our stairs and playfully bat at our ankles (never with her claws though).
Cute Poch Story:
The first time I saw her she immediately came up to me chalked you my arm and on top my shoulder and began purring and cuddling. She often times likes to jump from the ground onto my husbands shoulders still to cuddle with him or just hang out.
Why is Poch Being Rehomed?
We are devastated to rehome our Poch. This is not something either of us ever expected to do and it truly breaks our heart. But we know Poch would be happier in a home without children, not in a home with an 18 month old and a soon to be newborn in October. She is just terrified of our daughter and becomes highly anxious, causing her to be in a constant state of stress, which is no life for her. She was always a perfectly clean cat with impeccable litterbox habits, but since we had out daughter, who is now 18 months, Poch has had accidents outside the litter box. A cat behaviorist has told us that she needs a home where there are no small children or other pets, and that the accidents are directly a result of her being terrified of our daughter.
