He’s my dad shop cat. And my dad just passed away last week. I had to take captain and I need to find him a forever home. He was already torn apart from my dad and the shop and has lost all his biker buddies (captain was the hit of the shop, people used to say they only came in to visit I’m the cat and not my dad)

He doesn’t have use of his front claws so he can’t scratch anything (good for no marks on furniture) but they do need cut more often than a normal cat

Childless and catless home. Captain did best with adults who just want to pet him and give him cuddles. He’s good with dogs but takes him a while to warm up to them.
Someone willing to give him back if he doesn’t fit in with their family. I don’t want to give up on him, but I know my house is not the best for him
Additional Comments:
I want to know captain is in a good home. I don’t need to talk to the people all the time (I’m not opposed obviously to kitty visits) but I just want reassurance that if they find him too much or they don’t want him anymore they can bring him back to me to rehome. I don’t want captain going to a shelter
