Willow’s Personality

Willow is very good with humans and kids I have absolutely no concern here.

I love this dog very much my late fiancé and I adopted her when she was a year and a half we were her third owners when he passed away me and willow moved around a lot and it breaks my heart I can’t give her the home and stability she needs and deserves.

She needs a STABLE AND CONSISTENT ALPHA in her life which unfortunately I can’t provide. This dog truly saved my life when Duncan passed away unexpectedly and I as much as it breaks my heart I can step back and recognize I’m not the best owner for her at this time. She also needs someone who will be around I don’t want her locked in a kennel for 8 hours a day 5 days a week she has not experienced this for over 3 years now. She loves to camp and hike and is the best little snuggle bug when you are upset.

Why is Willow Being Rehomed?

This is my second attempt to rehome her and needs to be the last. There was a second dog at the most recent home which they thought would be ok however she has bitten that dog 3 times now. Prior to that she had also bitten 2 other dogs. I’ve worked with 2 trainers over the years however I’m not able to establish the dominant Alpha she needs. The bites arise when there are toys, food, or attention by a human. She is fine on a leash when walking past other dogs Duncan worked very hard on this with her and I was able to maintain it. We moved over aprox 20 times in 6 years, which I think has added to the aggression her thinking she needs to protect me.

Thank you for your interest in this deserving Mini Bulldog Dog for adoption in AB.
