Bentley is a healthy 5 year old dog. He is up to date on his shots, neutered, microchipped, house-broken, and crate-trained. Bentley is a sweet dog, and is good with adults, respectful older children and dog-friendly cats.
Bentley has some anxiety, which presents as aggression towards big dogs. He has more “joie de vivre” than most, and this can result in his jumping when he meets new people. He’s got a heart of gold, and just needs the right new owner to give him the confidence, training and activity he needs to become his best self. He has so much love and companionship to offer the right dog lover in the right situation.
Bentley’s ideal home will be a family with older kids or a couple living in a house with a large, securely fenced back yard. He loves to play and chase the ball, or do anything active. He’s also a champion cuddler, content to snuggle with you on the couch through an entire season of your favorite show on Netflix. He aims to please!
Bentley’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished dog. They are not able to provide the time, space, exercise and companionship that Bentley needs and very much deserves, and are committed to finding Bentley’s forever home where he will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life.

Bentley’s Personality
Very energetic but sleeps a lot and likes to snuggle. Loves exercise and is very active. Has behavioral issues such as listening to commands and aggression towards other dogs (mostly just big dogs). Needs someone that will be a great alpha and can guide him and form a bond.

I have worked very hard to keep my dog but things have not gotten better in terms of my situation with space, his behavior, and my future situation (moving/children etc.)
