Leia’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished cat, but circumstances beyond their control have made rehoming a must-do:

In 2017 we got a kitten and in 2018 we had a baby. Leia was already 8 at this time and didn’t take well to the changes. As baby has become toddler he is more loud and rambunctious and active than ever. The younger cat acts like a dog with him and plays along, but as those 2 get more loud and active, Leia has become more reserved. She barely comes out from under the bed and when she does, if the other cat sees her, there will be a full claw screaming cat fight. She holds her pee and goes long bouts without eating to avoid interacting with the kid/other cat. We try to keep them separate and give Leia the space she needs but she just becomes more reserved and goes under the bed. Sometimes she gets mattes because she refuses to come out. Recently everyone was away and Leia came out and was happy and social with myself and my friend. It was really nice to see but it made me realize what a poor quality of life she is having 98% of the time. I want to to have a better quality of life worth someone who can give her the pets and the loves she both wants and needs but can’t get in our household.

Leia is a a sweet and soft cat who loves to snuggle and spend time in quiet places. She is easily afraid and doesn’t like loud noises. When she is scared she will hide.

Leia has the best purr. We joke she is a lawnmower. She just rumbles away when she is pleased.
Leia’s coat is such a beautiful colour and so soft to the touch
If Leia feels safe and knows you feel sad, she will come check on you
Leia likes to talk. You can have a full convo with you where she will meow back.
Leia knows what she likes and what she doesn’t and will communicate to you when something isn’t ok.

Leia’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

She has this little race track where she gets to chase a ball which is fun. She likes both wet and dry food (but dry food needs to be soft). She likes to be quiet and sit and snuggle.
