Green Bean’s Personality
He LOVES people, to an obsessive level. He will follow you everywhere if you let him, into the shower, into your bed. However he will listen if you tell him to go lay down, or if you want to train him to not go specific areas or on furniture. He gets very excited and loves to play with people and toys, but can also be chill if you are chill. He will pretty much mimic whatever energy level you have.

He had a giant red ball, a plastic one, when I took him walks in our suburb residential neighborhood he carried it with him everywhere. People thought it was hilarious and everyone knew about him and recognized him because of that ball.
Why is Green Bean Being Rehomed?
This dog was adopted from a shelter by an ex-girlfriend of mine about 4-5 years ago. We broke up only months after getting him and she left me with green bean. I was never a pet person, and honestly I'm a terrible dog owner. He doesn't get anywhere near the attention and love he deserves. I have a 1 year old (which they love each other), but she is enough for me to take care of. The biggest reason though is I travel about 90 days a year. I'm forced to kennel him or pay for dog sitters ranging from $50-70 a day. The annual cost is extreme, and I don't the kennel and being home alone causes him anxiety. It's not fair to him, and never has been all these years. I wish I could just find someone to love him the way he needs to be loved.
Green Bean’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Ideally a home with a male or a stronger female, someone dominant to keep him in check. He runs circles around submissive personalities. Someone in the home that is good with dogs and willing to invest the time to work on his training. He is a great listener and learner, but I just didn't have what it takes admittingly. A home with no other pets. A larger property, or ideally a fenced in yard for him to run around free. Not deal breakers on the yard though, as he lived 3.5 years in a suburb just fine, but now we have a big yard that I know he loves.
I’d like to know that he’s okay, and if I get too sad maybe visit him. I get sad thinking about it, but I know it’s what’s best.
