Pepe has had it with city life, and has visions of moving to the country, to a home where all his dreams will come true! Pepe adores his humans, and would love to be with them during the day, as well as in the evening and overnight.
His owner describes Pepe as follows:
Pepe is a 4 year old mix breed. He is equal parts cuddle bug and outdoor enthusiast. He loves to camp, hike, climb, and end his day cuddling and watching a movie. On most days Pepe lays and naps and cuddles.
He’s very intelligent and excels in his obedience training and learning new tricks. His cutest command is “Paging Dr. Pepe.” After which he comes running for a treat. He also know some commands in Spanish! Though Pepe loves to relax and cuddle, he loves to play puzzle games, walk, and tug of war.
Pepe’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished dog. They are hoping to find a new home for Pepe where this special boy will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life.

Why is Pepe Being Rehomed?
Pepe suffers from anxiety and noise phobia. When we first adopted him, he was too scared to go outside to go to the bathroom. The sound of the wind, leaves rustling, cars, sirens, almost anything would make him flee. Now he loves to hike, camp, and go on walks! Even though Pepe has come a long way, his life in a busy city is still stressful at times. We welcomed our first baby into our home and he is getting louder as he gets older. We think it’s time for Pepe to have a quieter home.
We are very sad about this decision. Pepe loves his human brother and we have had no issues. But as our baby is becoming louder and we continue to live in a noisy city, we can see Pepe’s baseline stress level rise. He’s a sweet dog and we want to make sure he finds a quiet home where he can enjoy his time and avoid any negative situations.
