Ramsay and new owner, sean

To say that Ramsay found his forever home would be a huge understatement. We think he actually found his SOUL MATE in his new owner, Sean, himself a Ginger!  This rambunctious and adorable ginger cat has been adopted into about the best home on earth, and we are sure he will be looking forward to many joyous years of cuddling and canoodling with his new owners. Congratulations, Ramsay!

Here’s how our rehoming team presented Ramsay to attract his new home:

Hi, My name is Ramsay!

Are you looking for the ULTIMATE family companion? I have all the great qualities of both cat and dog combined into one “purrfect” little apricot tabby body. That’s right, I am a “cog” (or maybe I am a “dat”?)

Dilute orange tabby cat for adoption california 3I am a Cream short haired Male Tabby Cat. I am 3 years (in April 2016). I live in SAN FRANCISCO, CA.

I am the most gregarious pet you will ever meet. I am happy to meet everyone, and love to be a part of whatever is going on in my household. An independent, stand-off-ish feline I am NOT!

Whether it’s entertaining everyone in the family for hours with my playful cat antics, or snuggling up on the couch with you watching a good movie, I am so happy just to spend time with you. I am really fond of bird watching, too, and love a sunny window spot where I can enjoy the many species of birds the Bay area has to offer.

I get along well with other cats, as long as we are properly introduced, and would probably welcome some canine companionship, too.

My personality is very outgoing, and I am also a gentle companion. I think I would love some kids to play with, as long as they are old enough to know better than to pull my tail, crush me, poke my eyes or throw me in the bath tub!

Dilute orange tabby cat for adoption california 4Why Am I Being Rehomed?

My owner loves me very, very much. Because I am such a people loving cat, I’m not happy spending a lot of time by myself. She is having to work very long hours and also do a lot of traveling for work. It’s just not fair to me. I deserve to be the cherished center of attention, and that is what she wants for me. She is hoping to find a wonderful single, couple or family who will provide me with a safe, happy and healthy home where I will have lots of companionship.

Here is what my owner loves the most about me:

1) Very friendly – not afraid of visitors
2) Lots of energy – fun to watch play
3) Likes to cuddle on the couch and watch tv
4) Likes to watch the birds in the window
5) Good companion

Dilute orange tabby cat for adoption california 2I’m very healthy, clean and well-behaved, in addition to being a VERY HANDSOME CAT! I really hope you will offer me a home today, so that I can purr and play my way into your heart!

Cats as amazing as me are quite rare, so be sure to get in touch right away to offer me a home!

Purrs,

Ramsay

Ramsay’s Current Home Environment

I live alone in a 1-bedroom apartment in the city of San Francisco. Ramsay has always been an indoor cat. I tend to travel a bit for work and when I do, I try to get someone to stay in the apartment with Ramsay while I’m gone. He adjusts very quickly to them and warms right up.

Ramsay’s Current Family:

I live alone – no other family members.

Ramsay’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

He has had his favorite toy since he was a kitten and it is a stuff rat that I have named Ratso Ratzenberger. He also likes to play with hair bands and rubber bands. I have several other toys for him, but he always seems to go with the cheap things that come for free – like rubber bands or garbage ties, etc.

Cute Ramsay Story:

Ramsay is a bit of a cat burglar. He likes to steal my credit cards if I leave them on the counter. I did that one day and came home and could not find the card anywhere. I turned over the apartment looking under rugs and furniture and could never find it. I ended up having to order a new one from the bank. About a month and a half later, I found the card – no idea where he had it hidden for that time!!

Ramsay’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

I think Ramsay would do well in a home with other pets – he has a lot of energy and I think he would enjoy having other cats or even a dog to play with. Because he is so energetic, he probably would do better with a younger family.
