Thor and Loki have been fixed, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, house broken and crate trained. They are very affectionate, playful and intelligent dogs that would make the perfect addition to a country acreage, farm, ranch or suburban home with a large, securely fenced yard.

Thor and Loki’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished dogs. Thor and Loki are great dogs in the wrong situation. While they have been fine with the small children in their family, the dogs need to get to know people and other dogs before they can relax and feel comfortable. They cannot be taken to the dog park as they can be unpredictable in their interactions with other dogs. When meeting new people, they can nip to show that they are not comfortable with you yet.
What the dogs need is a confident owner with the right situation for Thor and Loki. They need to run and play, help with the chores, and practise their cattle dog skills. They would be in Heaven on a ranch or acreage, but at the very least they need owners who will commit to training them and who can provide the time, attention, exercise, play, affection and unconditional love they need and deserve. The owners are hoping to find a new home for Thor and Loki where these special dogs will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life.

Why is Thor and Loki Being Rehomed?
Thor and Loki are brothers, and our goal would be to keep them together. They play together well.
Once they are comfortable with somebody they are loving and awesome dogs, and have been great with our 3,7,9 year old kids, ONCE they got comfortable with them.
However before getting to know somebody they can be scared and nip. They can also be aggressive with other dogs sometimes so can’t be trusted off leash yet. Together, they have dug under a fence.
They need somebody experienced who can train them well, which is not us.
High energy, and shed ALOT. Smart as well.
The best fit for them will be with somebody who has the time to allow dogs to trust them, time to train and walk them, and can ALWAYS keep strict oversight of interactions with new people and animals early on. Never around children who can’t follow interaction instructions early on.
Just want them to find a home that suits them well, they can be perfect for the right people. Will also pay adoption fee.
