Russian blue mix cat adopt honolulu hi

Meet Loki, a Domestic Shorthair Cat for Adoption by Owner in Honolulu HI.

Looking for a truly special grey Russian Blue Mix Cat for adoption in Honolulu Hawaii and area? Just 3 years old and weighing 14.5 lbs, this handsome male at has been neutered, fully vaccinated, litter trained, and even leash trained. Loki is good with older children, adults, and friends he is yet to meet.

Loki’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their beloved cat. They are dearly hoping to find a wonderful new home for Loki with owners who will cherish and keep Loki safe, happy, and healthy.

Loki’s owners had this to say about him:

Loki is very loving and affectionate. He is not especially gentle — he has a lot of energy and plays rough with toys, but this means he’s also very good hunter! I never have any trouble with bugs, rodents, lizards, anything. He’s not vocal but he constantly follows me around the house, wanting love and pets often.

I think Loki would do best in a home without small kids, and possibly as a single cat. He gets jealous of my other cat, Luna, and will sulk or bat at me (no claws extended) when I’m offering her a lot of attention. However, he’s very brave and confident, and is great with strangers! He warms up to people very quickly, and isn’t scared of anyone or anything. Car rides, vet trips, or time in his cat carrier don’t seem to phase him.

Overall I think he’s a very good, strong, affectionate kitty who would love to be someone’s whole focus. I’ve tried doing both indoor/outdoor and indoor only with him, and he seems to like the indoor/outdoor life. I’ve also done leash training with him, and while he isn’t great at following my lead yet, he doesn’t have a problem with his vest and leash, and walking outside is one of his favorite things!

Why is Loki Being Rehomed?

Loki is a very loving cat who does not tolerate young children very well. I’m moving in with my brother and SIL, and they have three children ages 4, 2, and 1 mo. I do not think it would be fair for Loki or the kids to try to force them to cohabitate.

Loki is located in Honolulu, close to the following towns on Oahu:

Aiea HI,
Kaneohe HI,
Waimalu HI,
Ahuimanu HI,
Pearl City HI,
Ewa Beach HI,
Kailua HI,
Waipahu HI,
