Dobby’s owners are very sad to have to rehome him. Dobby’s owner’s wife left them, and he has nobody to hang out with during the day while his owner is at work. The owner’s daughter, who lives with him, has developed dog allergies, and is finding it very uncomfortable living with Dobby in the house.
Because of these unfortunate circumstances, they are hoping to find a new home for Dobby where he will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life. He’s such a great dog! He truly deserves to have a great life with a wonderful family who can give him everything he needs.

Why is Dobby Being Rehomed?
Dobby is a very special dog. I love him to death but I am not able to take care of him the way he deserves to be taken care of. My ex-wife got him for our daughter and left him here when she moved out. I work 2 full time jobs and am never around to provide him with the attention and love he craves and deserves.
Consequently, he is acting out and eating everything in my house. Also, my daughter it seems is very allergic to him and has asthma attacks every time she is around him. He is very energetic, very playful and very loving. He gets along great with everyone and just needs someone to take him for long walks and play fetch and tug-a-war with.
I tried kenneling him at first when I would leave the house for long periods of time, but I felt really bad about doing so because he is very big and needs lots of room to roam around, and I have never felt comfortable with leaving him outside unsupervised because he is very curious and strong and would escape my yard easily given the chance.
I want a really good home for Dobby. So I’m not going to rush and give him to the first person that Asks for him. I love him with all my heart and my daughter does as well, and we just want the very best for him. I have endured his anxiety since October, when my wife and his full time babysitter moved out, and he has already eaten pretty much everything there is to eat in my house, so the urgency is not, destruction related. But my daughter has become increasingly allergic to him and I worry that his dander is detrimental to her health, so I really need to find him a good home soon.
