Harvey’s owners worked with a trainer after the incident and were told that a home with lots of coming and going and small kids on the go may not be the best situation for Harvey. The trainer suggested placing him in a rural home with a retired couple who followed a schedule. Harvey needs to know what his day is going to look like. Breakfast at 9, a nice long walk at 10:30, a nap on the couch at 12, outside for a game of fetch in a securely fenced back yard, Dinner at 4, and so on.

Why is Harvey Being Rehomed?
Mostly due to the above. We have an 8-month-old who is close to walking and will be constantly going to the dog and we have a huge anxiety/fear he will spook him in his sleep or something and get a detrimental bite. We don’t feel it will be good for us the dog or the baby to have this continue. Our pup is an amazing dog 99% of the time but that 1% we can’t trust and it’s affecting us significantly
