Lacey’s Personality

Lacey is sweet and loving. She’s very independent and likes to do her own thing, but wants to be in the middle of the action at the same time, so she does well having a cat hammock in the living room by the couch so she can be nearby and on her own at the same time.

She loves to be brushed and pet. She’s very lazy, and doesn’t run around or play with many toys. She loves to lay on her back and sunbathe. She does not scratch or mark and is all together very laid back.

She’s a great cat and this breaks my heart. I wouldn’t be doing it if I didn’t really think it was the best option. There is no rush to find her the best home possible. It needs to be the right situation.

Why is Lacey Being Rehomed?

I rescued Lacey as a kitten from a bad owner who said he was going to release her onto the freeway. She’s been with us ever since. I am allergic to her and have to take allergy medications daily to breath, and my childhood asthma has resurfaced as a result. We just gave birth and our newborn is showing signs of being allergic as well. I just think she would be better in a different home than ours.

Lacey is such a sweet little cat that she would do well in many homes. She is good with everyone and other pets that are cat friendly. She has had a rough time in her early years and deserves to be given the best home out there.
