Shep – Handsome Labrador Retriever Mix To Loving Home in Georgia

Hi, My name is Shep!

Border collie labrador retriever mix for adoption atlanta
I am a really great dog! I am a gorgeous mix of Border Collie and Labrador Retriever. I am healthy, neutered, up to date on my shots and microchipped. I am also house broken, leash trained and crate trained. I am just 2 years old and weigh 40 pounds. I live in Dacula, GA, not far from Atlanta.

My owners love me so much! They adopted me from a shelter and brought me home to live with them and their older dogs. Unfortunately I am not getting along with the older dogs.

They feel that it would be best to find me a great home where I can be the only dog.  I love people and am good with children who are old enough to have respect for dogs.

I need people who have time to spend with me. I would love a nice, big fenced yard, and some great older kids to play fetch with.

I’m not all that large at just 40 pounds. I am very smart, very handsome and lots of fun. Please offer me a great home today. I can’t wait to meet you!

Love and Licks,
Shep

Reason For Rehoming

Because of his attitude with our old boy there is tension in the household, the young girl will not come into the house if Shep is in. He was great when we first brought him home, all the dogs got on really well and within a few months Shep decided he was going to be the boss. I am always trying to keep the peace and my other two babies are not getting the attention they used to get because he bullies them away. We used to have 4 labs so I am used to my dogs ( 2 passed away due to old age) mistake was bringing home another male, and not a puppy as we were told.
