Charlie’s Personality
Charlie is sweet and loving, would be a lap dog if he didn’t weigh 82 lbs. He’s good with kids – my daughter was a nanny for a 3 year old and Charlie was very good with him. He’s never met a human he didn’t like. He loves belly rubs and treats. He and Daisy play well and never hurt each other even though they tumble and play growl together.
Why is Charlie Being Rehomed?
We have an enclosed dog run at our apts. I took Charlie and his “sister” dog, Daisy (also a pit mix), to the run right after work. A young woman (20s) approached the yard and let her dogs sniff through the fence, I hesitated because Charlie can be fine, then not fine. She came in anyway (distracted and fiddling with her phone). Her dog was a female chocolate lab, maybe 45 lbs or so. They played fine for a while then something sparked and they were at each other. The woman stuck her hand in it and got bitten and stated our dog did it. He is just now finishing a mandatory 10 day quarantine (we chose the vet’s office over animal services) and we pick him up tomorrow. We love Charlie dearly, but we have an issue with the apts .
