Just 2.5 years old, this healthy Tuxedo cat has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and litter trained. She is very well-behaved, and a delight to be around. She is a cuddly little purring machine, and forms a close bond with her favorite people. She is cautious, and reacts strongly to sudden loud sounds or situations she is unsure about.
Freyja’s ideal home will be with a homebody cat lover with lots of time to spend with her. She is not a fan of being home alone, so it will be nice to find someone who is retired or works from home.

For a long tome she was ok with Iams dry food. Trying her on Purina hydrolyzed protein diet to see if it will help her, 1/4 cup 2x daily. She likes to eat slowly and nibble throughout the day. She has never had a problem with overeating. Have eliminated fish from her diet. 1.5 oz Purina or Sheba wet food daily as well. She likes chunks and gravy, not pate. Drinks enough water from her fountain.
Freyja’s Personality
She is a very sweet, yet anxious cat. She loves cuddles and kneading on laps. She likes to be near her people. She’s vocal and chirps a lot. Very curious and likes to play, climb, hunt and chase toys. Not destructive at all, stays off dining tables and kitchen counters. We found her in a shelter interacting well with other cats. I don’t know what she’s like with dogs. She isn’t fond of being picked up. She would do well in a home where someone is there most of the day. She’s sensitive to noises so would do well in a quiet home.
I want to find a good home for her with people who are vetted and trustworthy in taking care and providing her with a good quality of life.
Why is Freyja Being Rehomed?
My health is deteriorating to the point that I can’t take care of her.
